In his role as Director of Innovation at Ideation Genesis, Adrian partners with companies to drive and monetize innovation into commercially viable products and services. He believes that opportunity and differentiation come from breaking old patterns. His eye for best practices is based on his far-reaching experience, commercial acumen, talent for creative invention, and ability to discern fine market distinctions. His unique insights and thought processes have led him to identify brand-stretch opportunities and create new consumer products and service experiences in many diverse industries, including transportation, luxury goods, lifestyle products, food & beverages, manufacturing, financial services, consumer products, sustainable products, and renewable energy.
Because of Adrian’s diverse abilities and his intuitive understanding of the marketplace, his work transcends categories, platforms, and functions and allows him to generate customer-centric propositions and lead innovations programs in a wide range of product and service venues. At Walt Disney Imagineering, he engineered theme park ride designs; at the Johnson Space Center, he made use of robotics to upgrade NASA’s medical service offerings; at Sandia and Los Alamos National Labs, he provided important business and technology intelligence for their spin-off programs. And at General Motors, he integrated design and advanced technology to reinvent and revolutionize the automobile.
In addition to the 80+ patents he holds (spanning business processes, design, and technology), Adrian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and a Masters of Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
